Tree of Life Workshop

The fort of King Máine was famed for its metalwork and jewellery making with much evidence and artefacts recovered at the time of the excavations in 1967.

We are delighted to welcome Tracy McTernan from Hazelrocks to teach a very unique modern twist on this age old skill. Based in County Roscomon Tracy uses only ethically mined/sourced genuine gemstones in her work and is a member of Crafted in Roscommon, DCCoI & InsideCraft.

The Tree of Life jewellery making workshop is on Saturday 14th July from 10am to 1pm.
Places are strictly limited, with eight remaining, so please book in advance below to secure your place.

During this three hour workshop you get expert tuition and learn all the skills necessary to create your own beautiful Tree of Life pendant from precious stones and wire all for the very reasonable price of €55. Tracy will bring a good selection of colours of wire and selection of gemstone, including Tigers eye, Rose Quartz, Agates, Moonstone, Emerald, Tourmaline, Amethyst, Citrine, Aventurine and Howlite.
